Sample review · Race weekend debrief
The written debrief from a Pro-Am client's race weekend: Sebring, International GT, Porsche 718 Cayman. Names removed, nothing else softened. It came with a voice-over narration of the laps and a data review; this is the part that can be shown on a page.
What every review includes
A recording of your full onboard with the coach talking through every corner: what he sees, what it's costing, what to change.
Where data is sent, your traces overlaid against the reference lap and the differences explained, corner by corner along with the video.
The key areas for focus and improvement, the three biggest time losses and a drill. The document below is one of these.
01 · Objectives
02 · The weekend
03 · Corner by corner
Not consistently getting the car left for braking, then turning in early. Apex speed is given away to stop the car oversteering on entry. Fix this and T16 fixes itself.
Line is compromised by the T15 exit. Secondary to T15, not a separate problem.
Brake later. Simple.
Still carrying too little mid-corner speed.
Improved after moving off the tighter line. The tight line throttle-limits T4 and ruins the placement into T5.
The debrief04 · The three things
Car left, brake, turn in later, trust the front. The lap time and the T16 problem both live here.
Mirror-watching and over-defending cost more than a position does. Sometimes the guy behind gets by. That's fine. Losing the car trying to stop him is not.
Fresh tyres, early lap, find the gap and get it done. Pole in Q2 proved it works; Q1 proved what happens when it doesn't.
05 · Client's perspective
06 · Your lap
One lap of video from any camera, data if you have it. Corner-by-corner notes, the three things costing you time and a drill for your next session, within 48 hours. A full race weekend debrief like this one is $749 at the founding rate: test lap before qualifying, qualifying lap before the race, race review after.
